Kai Owen

A former pupil of Ysgol Bro Gwydir and Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy, Kai was born and bred in Llanrwst, North Wales. 

He trained at Mountview and he is an associate actor at Theatr Clwyd.

Kai is a familiar face on Welsh television, appearing in Gwaith Cartref, Y Pris, Tipyn o Stad, Treflan and Pobol y Cwm all for S4C.

 

Kai is best known for his portrayal of Rhys in the worldwide hit series Torchwood created by Russell T Davies. 

 

In 2015 Kai was cast as Pete on Channel 4's Hollyoaks. He was involved in an extremely powerful storyline that along with support from the NSPCC gained great acclaim from critics and audiences alike.

Rebecca Trehearn is an Olivier award winner for her role as Julie LaVerne in Showboat.  Other credits include Sweet Charity (Nottingham Playhouse; UK theatre award, best performance in a musical); Floyd Collins (Wilton’s Music Hall); Donna/Oolie in City Of Angels (Donmar Warehouse/West End); Marcy in Dogfight (Southwark Playhouse) and Molly Jensen in Ghost (UK National Tour).

 

Film and television includes: Peggy Roberts in Nan: The Movie, Karen McKay in Dim Ond Y Gwir (S4C); Carla Hewson in Casualty (BBC); Angharad in A470 (S4C).

 

Rebecca works regularly as a session singer and can be heard on film soundtracks including Into The Woods, The Da Vinci Code and Mamma Mia!  She is also a regular guest artist on the BBC’s Friday Night is Music Night.

Since 2017 Pearson Casting have looked after RWS Entertainment Group’s UK casting for Holland America Line, Step One Dance Company, Europa Park Germany, Virgin Voyages and Azamara Club Cruises.

Teleri is a former student of Ryder Academi, Ysgol Bro Gwydir and Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy in Llanrwst.

 

Training: Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and Rare Studio, Liverpool.

 

Credits while training include: Beadle Bamford in Sweeney Todd, Larger Than Life Revue, A Tribute To Dame Shirley Bassey and Christmas on Broadway.

 

Theatre includes: Cinderella in Cinderella, Cardiff New Theatre, Ensemble/2nd Cover Eponine in Les Miserables (UK Tour), Ilse in Spring Awakening (Hope Mill Theatre) - Best Actress in a Musical Nomination, The Stage Debut Awards 2018.

Kaân Huzarski

Kaân is a former student  of Ryder Academi, Ysgol Bro Gwydir and Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy in Llanrwst.

 

Training: Rare Studio, Liverpool.

 

Since graduating from Rare Studio in Liverpool, Kaân moved to Manchester and is now a part of House of Ghetto where he performs in several vogue ball events throughout the year. Most recently he performed in Glitter Box for Comic Relief, with Gok Wan. Kaân is represented by Vauhaus Agency and is currently building his portfolio as a professional model. As well as working as a professional dancer, Kaân has also worked professionally as a make-up artist since graduating from Unpretty Make-Up school. 

Lowri Roberts

Lowri Roberts is a BAFTA CYMRU award winning filmmaker from North Wales.

 

Lowri is a former member of The Academy and was a part of the theatre show ‘Growing Pains’ which was made with her peers at The Academy. ‘Growing Pains’ was the beginning of Lowri’s writing career!

 

Lowri studied Filmmaking at UWE Bristol and her graduate film, ‘Girl’, won the BAFTA Cymru for Best Short Film 2019.

 

Lowri has also made a couple of short films with Channel 4 and BBC Arts.

 

Lowri worked as an assistant producer at Calling The Shots on a number of BBC short films. She now works as a producer at Rapt, a new production company which is being set up with Maisie Williams. She’s in development of a number of longer form projects at Rapt, including her first feature script.
